I was fascinated and impressed to read Barry’s story. He certainly was a humble man who never tried to impress us with his many accomplishments. I knew him as a generous and kind neighbor, who I was always so glad to see at any neighborhood gathering or election results watch party, as his big smile would put me immediately at ease. He was an interesting and interested conversationalist. I also looked forward to chatting with him and Janet whenever I went to vote, and I thank them both for their civic spirit. Good citizens, good neighbors, good people. He will be missed.
