Obituary of Margaret Isabel Yavulla

Margaret Isabel Yavulla passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at her residence in Virginia. 

She was born on March 3, 1922 in Pittston, Pennsylvania and was married to the late Joseph J. Yavulla.  They spent their married life at their home in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Her only son, Joseph, passed away in 2019.  She is survived by her daughter-in-law Krista and her beloved granddaughters, Michelle and Nicole.

Mrs. Yavulla is a World War II veteran and a graduate of Strayer College.  She worked on Capital Hill until her retirement in 1979.   She enjoyed exercising and worshipping at church.  Her friends and family were treasured by her and she was always willing to lend a helping hand and kind word.  She will be missed.
