Obituary of Betty Mulliken

On July 12, 2008, Betty Mulliken, 61 years old, originally from North Stratford, NH, lived in the Washington area since 1974, died of a heart attack at her residence in Sterling, Virginia. She was a devoted housewife and graduated from Stratford High School in 1965. She is predeceased by her father Alton Hurley. She is survived by husband, Charles Mulliken Jr.; her daughters and families, Diane Mulliken, Carol and husband Shane Crawford, Lana and husband Joe Tippett IV, along with her three grandchildren Shane Crawford, Jr., Hallie Crawford, Joseph Tippett V; her mother, Grace Hurley, brothers William, Robert, Philip, Richard Hurley, Gary Drew from previous marriage and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends at Adams Green Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 4:30 P.M.-6:.30 P.M. with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 P.M. The family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042. Life is too short not to live!
