Obituary of Marian White Campbell

Please share a memory of Marian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In loving memory of our mother, Marian Virginia White Campbell, who passed away on June 24, 2022. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marian was born on November 21, 1927 to Roscoe White and Mary (Riely) White in Herndon, Virginia. After graduating from Herndon High School in 1944, she worked at the Pentagon as a secretary. She took on many roles in her career, including banker, computer programmer, and office manager.

Our mother was a kind and giving person who put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong and determined woman who faced the many challenges in her life with courage and dignity. She also instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. When she wasn’t filling our home with warmth, she could be found gardening, reading, crocheting, or making friends.

Marian was predeceased by her husband, Stanley. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Jarboe, and her children, Connie Kissam, Mike Campbell, Roger Campbell, eight grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at the Adams-Green Funeral Home on July 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dranesville Church of the Brethren.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
