Bill was a dear friend who I will miss greatly. He was part of the weekly Men's Study that met in our house for many years. Bill's wisdom, sincerity, and humor added a special element to our times together.
Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world.” - John 11:23-27

Dear family members, as a fellow Secular Franciscan, I knew Bill and Linda for many years. I especially remember Bill's useful additions to discussions about religious topics during our monthly Franciscan meetings. He was known for his wisdom, useful life experience and approachability. Many fellow Franciscans sought out Bill for advice. He was always friendly and forthcoming.
Bill loved his wife and family very much. Despite suffering many trials to his health in recent years, Bill always exuded joy and was steadfast in his faith. Godspeed to Br. Bill. Peace and All Good. May he rest in peace, and may his family receive God's grace.
