Obituary of Marina Esther Hahn

Marina Esther Serrano Ramos Hahn (age 89) died on August 7, 2022 at her residence in Herndon, VA.

Marina was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on January 25, 1933. She was trained to be a teacher, taught in Puerto Rico and later in Maryland. In 1968 she moved to Washington DC to work for the government. In 1973 she married her husband, Werner Hahn. They traveled together for over 45 years throughout Europe, Latin America and the Near East.

She is survived by her husband Werner, her sisters, Antonia Crosthwait of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Jenny Perez of Jersey City, NJ, Brunhilda Serrano of Caguas, Puerto Rico and Yolanda Bridges of Hunt, Texas and brothers Pedro Serrano of Jersey City, NJ, Mo Serrano of Rochester, NY, Johnny and Michelangelo Serrano of Caguas, Puerto Rico.

A funeral mass will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday August 30, 2022  at St Joseph Catholic Church in Herndon, VA..
