We were shocked and saddened by the news that Gary's life on earth ended. We met because of our late son, Jason's, friendship with Todd. Jason ended up as a non-official member of the McKinney family and considered Linda and Gary as his secondary "Mom & Pop".
He loved Gary as he did all of the McKinney clan.
Our love and deepest sympathy to Linda, Todd, and all who knew and loved Gary. May your memories hold you close and bring comfort as you navigate this life without him.
May his sweet soul be blessed as he rises to heights we can only imagine. We know one Angel that will be there to welcome him with his sunshine smile and a big hug.

I got the privilege to meet Gary at the hospital a few days before he passed. As a woman of color and a patient care technician, it is not common to be accepted or accept our care by some patients. The day I met Gary was a special day. Entering his room and greeting him, he enswering me with a smile, which meant a lot to me. I felt accepted, and since that moment, we were connected. Meeting with his family was the same reaction, everyone was good with me and I had a wonderful day. On Sunday, I visit him, and we got a moment to pray together with him and Lisa, it was peaceful. On Tuesda, I stopped by his room to say hi, he was doing good, we jocked and laughed together with Linda and Todd. On Thursday, I hear from Lisa that he passed, it was unbelievable and a choc to me. My heart was broken.
I keep his last smile in my mind Rest In Peace Gary!
To Linda and all family I wish you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Oh my Linda, my heart hurts for the loss of dear sweet Gary! Having grown up together as kids there are so many memories. I will never forget your wedding day. We were all so young and it seems like time marches on. So many have gone on to Glory. Time and distance may have separated us but I still love you! You have a beautiful family, it looks like ya’ll made a good life and Gary was happy.
