My condolences..sorry for y’all loss..
Often times Kris and I would do various things during the morning, afternoon, or night..and we would have good conversations about a lot of things..however sometimes we would listen to old school RnB music..preferably the 60s era..turn it up and sit back and enjoy in the car. One of our favorites was the Isley Brothers..and periodically compare what new song that was out and compare to a remake of an old school song..classic

I served with Kris on the USS Puget Sound and have fond memories of him. He would always represent DC, and would laugh and joke around all the time. You could always hear his distinctive laughter in the berthing area. Very nice and fun to be around, and I’m so sorry and want to offer my condolences to his family

I first met Kris working at Feld Entertainment. When they moved Kris desk next to mine, we became friends instantly. He was one of the first friends I made when I moved to DC. All of my friends from Va Beach and here in DC that met Kris loved him. We had alot of good times together. I already miss him but I will cherish the memories we had together. I love you big bro, until we met again. My condolonces to Lizza and Kris family.

Where do I begin. I met you in the 4th grade. We were in training to become safety patrols, but ultimately never crossed over. We chatted for 5 minutes and I knew, this dude is cool as ice and is going to be my guy. We had 6th grade together, played little league football together. We hung out at each other's house more times than we can count. Your mom always treated me like another one of her sons, and I felt like she was another mom to me. My mom and dad treated you the same. You were one of the first who knew Sahar Toussy Cook was going to be Mrs Cook. You were in my wedding, whenever I needed you, you were there. I just wish I had one more moment to tell you how much you truly meant to the Totality of my life. I'll mourn you till I join you. From one KC to another. Your brother 4 life and beyond . Rest in peace my brother Rico!

There’s a little piece of him in Chino Hills.
My last memory of him was when Kris and Lizza came to visit me when I lived in California. We were at a place where we could draw on the walls and here is what he drew. He was someone who became a close brother with who we shared a hobby of marine aquariums and memories spent watching movies at the old home and him acting out scenes with my sister on the basement floor.
Kris will always have a place in my heart and mind.
