Obituary of Edith Clark Nalls

Edith Clark Nalls (86) Peacefully departed this life on March 14 with family and friends at her side. She was dearly loved by her daughter Diane Clark, son Miles Clark, son-in-law Peter Garcia, daughter-in-law Ruth Crout, Grandaughter Tennessee Dye, and a host of family and friends. Known for her gracious manner, wit and hard work, Edith earned honors for her dedicated service as Treasurer of the town of Herndon 1972 - 1987. She was devoted to the Zonta Club of Fairfax, working to improve the legal, economic, and professional status of women around the world. The Club honored her years of service by establishing a scholarship in her name. Friends may call at Adams-Green Funeral Home 721 Elden Street, Herndon VA on Tuesday March 18, 2 to 4 pm & 5 to 7 pm. Service will be held at Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Rd, Herndon, at 11 am Wednesday, March 19, followed by burial at Chestnut Grove Cemetery and a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Disease Research Society.
