Obituary of Patricia Ann Hendershot

Patricia Ann Hendershot, age 85, died October 26, 2022, after a short illness in Reston, VA.  She was born April 24, 1937 in Kingston, NY to Thomas and Fannie (Perry) Turck. 

Pat moved to Washington, DC and then Silver Spring, Maryland where she met and married George R. Hendershot. Upon George’s death she poured all of her love and energy into her only son, Thomas Joseph. 

Tom and his wife, Christi have 3 sons: Owen, Carter and Ethan. Pat happily and easily added doting grandmother to her role of dedicated mother. She was proud beyond measure and lit up at the mere mention of “the boys.” 

She is also survived by her siblings, Nicholas, Paul, Cecelia, Delores, Ginger, Phyllis and the late Yolanda and Vincent; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Pat had a quick wit, twinkle in her eye and generous heart. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed.
