Glenn Gardner, 64 of Herndon, VA passed away peacefully after battling his second fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family at Reston Hospital.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Roxanne along with his 7 children, Justin Gardner (Nicole), Michael Gardner, Brandon Gardner (Morgan), Brian Gardner (Tori), Brad Gardner, Ashley Polizzi (Nick) and Bryce Gardner. Glenn is also survived by one brother (Howard), one sister (Glenda) and ten grandchildren.

Glenn grew up in Landover, MD and attended Oak Hill Academy graduating in 1975. While attending Oak Hill he joined the basketball team and later was offered a basketball scholarship to attend college. Glenn met and married Roxanne Carter in 1986. During their years together, they both loved yard sales, crafting their own holiday decorations, and hosting friends and family for gatherings. Glenn always mentioned how proud he was to watch all his children grow
up to be successful. He also loved being a grandfather, spending time with his grandchildren every chance he could. Glenn was a man of both excitement and relaxation, always eager to jump on his motorcycle for a ride down to the Tail of the Dragon or a relaxing afternoon fishing with his sons. Regardless of what he was doing he was always excited to come home to his wife and his dog Chloe.


Visitation will be held at Adams Green Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, between 10-11 AM with service to be held immediately at 11 am.
