Un saludo afectuoso para Lee y su familia y al mismo tiempo quiero agradecer en mi nombre y en el nombre de mis compañeras de clase de español por tener el privilegio de estar presente junto a todos ustedes en estos momentos difíciles por la ausencia de Elisabeth, la persona que abnegadamente compartió la vida de nuestro amigo y compañero Lee Griffith.
Cuando alguien que amamos muere, no hay forma de evitar la tristeza y tener un vacío en el corazón, pero temenos La Paz y el Consuelo que ya está junto a nuestro Padre Creador.
Perder a un ser querido puede traer mucha aflicción, dolor y pena. Es un momento donde se necesita mucho apoyo emocional. Aunque sabemos que las pérdidas vienen porque así es el ciclo de la naturaleza humana, lo cierto es que nunca podemos llegar con suficiente preparación para vivir sólo con el recuerdo.
Nuestras más sentidas condolencias, Lee, lamentamos mucho la pérdida de tu esposa. Estamos seguras que estará siempre en tu pensamiento y en tus recuerdos como en los nuestros.
Recuerda que te queremos y que estamos presentes para poder ayudarte y estar a tu lado en lo que necesites.
Creemos que nada ni nadie podrá ocupar el vacío creado por la partida de tu esposa. Estaremos contigo en oración para que te llenes de fortaleza y aceptación. Que Dios te de el camino para poder aceptarlo y que Él esté en vuestros caminos para continuar en el día a día de la vida.

I remember a time when we were all at our Grandparents home in Brooklyn. Beth brought Lee along to meet everyone. We knew it was serious because you didn't bring just anyone to meet Nan & Pop. Beth & Lee were dressed in their Navy best and ultimately retired to the "green room" for some privacy. After a while Nan asked me to look in on them &see if all was well. I reported back to her that they seemed fine & engrossed in conversation. So, Nan went to check & observed from a distance. She came back & smiling wryly said "she's doing all the talking while he's listening intently & staring into her eyes. She's batting her eyelashes like crazy while she's laying down the law to him. They're going to be just fine." Apparently after all these years she was right. Congratulations on the wonderful life and marriage you shared over these many years. God bless you and keep you both.
