Anita , we knew , was a very loving person loved by everyone.
Our association goes back to 1972.
Last we spoke with her was on 26th January 2023.
We will miss her immensely

Q: What 3 words best describe Anita and why?
A: Anita, a loving, kind and considerate person was my vahini , my eldest brother Ashok’s wife. She had a special place in our lives. We got married in the same year in July 1967 in Baroda. We have kept in touch and met on various family occasions over the years despite being in different continents.
Her devotion to Joshi family and especially taking care of my elderly parents in their latter years was praiseworthy.
We will miss her sorely. May her soul rest in peace.

Anita Kaku attended our 50th wedding anniversary in Pune in December 2018. The last time we met her was in Herndon in November last year when we had lunch with her.

We have known Anita Kaku since our daughter, Sapna, married her nephew, Dr. Sandeep Joshi, in November 2000. Always a very kind, loving, and caring person, she became a part of our extended family. After Ashok Kumar passed away ten years ago, she courageously carried on and became even more intimate with us. We went to see her in Pune where she lived alone in the Athashri complex for senior living in December 2018 and again two months ago when we were visiting Anilkumar and Sunitatai. She welcomed us to her home and went with us for lunch. Anuradha always looked forward to chatting with her on the phone. We will miss her and pray the Almighty to bless her soul with eternal peace.
