Obituary of Donald Edwin Lovak, Sr.

Donald Edwin Lovak Sr., 89 , of Vienna passed away January 27, 2023 at Reston Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1933 in Oak Park, IL. He was the son of the late E.J. and Vera Lovak of Berwyn, IL.

   Donald served in the Army Reserve. While serving he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in June 1962.

A few years prior to his discharge in July 1958 he entered into the Central Intelligence Agency. He was considered an electronics specialist. He spent the next thirty-five years working for them in various locations overseas.He retired in July 1993. 

 

   On April 27, 1995 he married Vivian Baston who survives.

Also surviving are his six children from his previous marriage; Donald Lovak Jr., Oriana Carter (Charlie), Edward Lovak (Rebecca), Norman Lovak (Kelly), Andrea Daniels (William), and LeAnne Lovak. There are also eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a daughter Taryn Lovak.

  His body was cremated at his request and there will be no funeral services.
