The Farrar Family made a donation to the Alzheimer's Assocation. Summer swimming is what connected Jim and Molly's family to ours. Many summer mornings and evenings were spent at the Uplands pool with Jim/Molly watching our kids swim and coach. Watching Moira stumble out of her house while spilling her cup of tea still brings smiles to our faces. Jim's kids were great role models for our children to which we can never thank Jim/Molly enough. To Jimmy, Maggie and Moira - remember the good times of which there were many!

Dear Molly, Jimmy, Maggie and Moira, We were so saddened to learn of Jimmy Ed's passing. I have many wonderful memories of our childhood years on Pulteney St. in Geneva, NY. One of my favorites was one time when he came home on leave from the Navy, he took his four younger siblings and his two cousins (one of which was me) and treated us all to ice cream! We are very sad to here of Uncle Jim's passing . It's so difficult to lose someone who has been a part of your lives forever . The hurt seems like it will never go away .While time has a way of easing the pain , it never completely leaves you . But , as you go through your lives , there 'll be moments when the memories of your dad and what he did for you will bring only joy and happiness . You'll hear it in something you said . You'll see it on the faces of your children and grandchildren . And you will feel it in your heart when you do something that you know he would be proud of . Time may have taken Jim from us , and time will makes us wait until the hurt eases . Yet time can never take away these things . They will be with us forever .
