Obituary of Walter Glen Irby

Walter Glen Irby (71) “Glen” passed away at home in Sterling, Virginia on April 1, 2023. Glen was born on May 31, 1951, to Lewis and Fay Irby in Washington, D.C.

Glen is survived by his siblings Donald (Karen) and Jim; Children Michael (Rebecca), Nancy (Chad) and Amanda (Alex); Stepchildren Steven (Christina) and David and 10 treasured grandchildren that filled his life with much joy.  Donna filled his life with happiness and joy until the end. 

After High school he became a cartographer “map maker” for the Federal government for 40 years! He was an avid bowler and finally bowled a 300 on March 5, 2020. However, if you asked him what his greatest accomplishment was, he would say being a father.
