Victor B. Elstad Jr
April 2, 1947 - April 8, 2023
Victor B. Elstad Jr. passed away and into Jesus's arms with his family at his side on Saturday April 8, 2023. Vic was born in Auburn, New York on April 2nd, 1947. His parents would later relocate to Washington D.C., then to the Virginia
suburb of Fairfax County.
He graduated from W.T. Woodson High School (Class of 1965). He would graduate from George Mason University and would go on to become a Marine Veteran. On July 3rd, 1976 he would meet the love of his life, Linda Yednock. They had three great children, Victor B. Elstad III , Joshua Elstad and Becky Elstad and a beautiful Grandson Alistair, born in 2019.
He retired as a Computer Specialist (IT) for the Federal Government after over two decades of service. He was a devout Christian and had amazing faith. He deeply loved his family, including all his beloved cats and dogs. He had a deep passion for writing poetry including publishing a book of them on Amazon. He also enjoyed building computers, electronics and a large video library. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and many more.
In addition to his loving wife Linda Elstad and three children and one grandson he leaves behind two Sisters, Mariette Elstad Cox of Flagler Beach, FL and Leslie Elstad Campbell of Chesapeake, VA, many brother and sister in laws, one aunt, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many cousins. We will all miss him terribly, until one day, we all meet again.
