Atul Mittal, 51, passed away on April 16^th, after a heroic battle with lung cancer, metastasized to brain and spine, surrounded by family and friends. He was supported throughout his battle by his loving wife and daughter.

Atul was the most loving and devoted human to his wife, daughter, siblings, parents, and colleagues. He had a reserved and warm personality, and his smile was contagious. Those who knew him personally respected his sincerity, and unassuming demeanor. He was a man of many talents, singing, cooking, and his deep knowledge and passion for his vocation.

As a man of true integrity and patience, Atul would never leave a complex situation unhandled. A selfless man, who focused on providing his family with a comfortable life.  

Atul was a great man whose impact will forever be felt by his family. His passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His smile and personality had the ability to calm tough situations. His willingness to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive and love will forever be ingrained in all he knew.

A memorial service will take place this Wednesday, April 19^th, at 1:30pm. It will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home. The address is 721 Elden Street, Herndon.
