Aunt Irene, you will forever be missed and will always remain in our hearts. I’m so happy that Donna and I were able to visit you while you were in the hospital. Little did we know it would be our final visit. It was so good to talk about old times, family and good memories. We know you are now at peace. And, you are with dad, Aunt Martha, Aunt Elsie and grandma and grandpa looking down on all of us keeping us in your prayers. Love Karen and Donna.

Irene and were friends for about 15 years while working together for the FDA. Our days started early at 6-6:30 am. We often chatted a few minutes then. She was a kind, gracious woman, an inspiration to many of us and also an admirable public servant.
