Noord, Evelyn G. (age 88) Of Great Falls, VA on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, La Plata, MD. Beloved wife of the late George C. Noord; daughter of the late Ernest W. and Kate C. Garner born March 19, 1919 in Croom, MD; loving and devoted mother of Janet Marshall and her husband, David of Sterling; a son, Thomas Noord and his wife, Judith of La Plata, MD; six grandchildren, Robert Marshall, Amy Britton, Andrew Marshall, Ryan Noord, Colin Noord, Emily Noord; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Garner. She was preceded in death by a son, John C. Noord. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 11am at Dranesville United Methodist Church, 1089 Liberty Meeting Court, Herndon, VA. Interment will be private.
