Obituary of Ashley Elizabeth Ukkola

Ashley Elizabeth Ukkola, 21, of Sterling, VA passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2023.

Ashley is survived by her parents, Hanna Ukkola and Thomas Fortin along with her 2 sisters, Annabelle and Abigail.

Ashley grew up in Sterling and attended Dominion High School graduating in 2019. She then went on to study Advertising Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University along with studying for her Cosmetology License at Paul Mitchell. She graduated Paul Mitchell in 2021 and was finishing her 2^nd year at VCU. Ashley had two cats, Bellatrix and Willow whom she loved dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed skateboarding, music and painting.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 46639 Algonkian Pkwy, Sterling, VA 20165, from 10-11AM with the funeral mass to be held at immediately after at 11 am. Burial to follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.
