Obituary of Nancy Moss Berreth

Nancy M. Berreth, 86, of Sterling, VA passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with dementia at the Pacifica long term care facility.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Hunter and Vera Poindexter.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles along with their 2 children, Chuck and Jim. Nancy is also survived by one sister (Linda), and three grandchildren (Riley, Allison and Randy) along with a nephew (Dean).

Nancy grew up in Sandston, VA and attended Highland Springs High School graduating in 1955.

After graduation she worked as a secretary for the state of Virginia, she later met and married Charles in 1964. During their years together they raised 2 children, they loved attending and volunteering at their respective churches, taking walks and watching football and baseball games.

A memorial will be held at Adams Green Funeral Home on Friday May 19, 2023 between 12-2PM.  Reception to follow at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern, Herndon, VA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
