Obituary of Robert Walter Andrus

Robert W. Andrus, age 80, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. A dedicated husband, supportive stepfather, and doting grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Nancy; his stepchildren, Joseph and Susan; granddaughter, Amanda; close loved ones, including Shahnaz, Karen, Robyn, and Aviral; and countless friends from around the country. 

The oldest child of two public school teachers, he was a man of dignity and honor who also answered the call to public service. As a career public servant, he devoted 32 years working for the Central Intelligence Agency. He possessed a generous heart, ensuring his family always knew they were loved and cared for. A life-long fan of the Boston Red Sox, he enjoyed talking about baseball, football, and college basketball with his friends and family.
