As a kid, I remember your Dad being one of the nicest Dad's in our little neighborhood. He was always tinkering in the garage or in his van in the driveway. He was kind and very generous to all of us who managed to ride our bikes to your house. I'm sorry for your and your family's loss of such a wonderful person. Dear Mark , friends and family -
I have such a special place in my heart for Wendell and just smile everytime I ever saw him . When i first met him in 1992, I asked him if he was single and if he would be interested in meeting my mom , for the would be the best dad , ever !
You are all so lucky to be part of his family! The world needs more people like him, for sure !
I know you are all heartbroken, but try to keep the faith and reflect on all the wonderful memories you had with him . He is one special man!

So sorry for your loss. Wendall was a wonderful man. I remember his affection for people so clearly. His love of employees in particular with buying them ice cream. I remember he would encourage employees to give away a service call to those in need. And I remember him holding court in the hallways of Nexstar meeting smiling and making others smile. He will be missed and forever remembered.

I lived down the street from Wendell, we would have dances at the firehouse in Chantilly on Friday nights he was such a good dancer loved dancing with him and I must say he was my first Love he was so handsome, I often wonder what may have happened if I hadn't moved away. ❤️ God Bless you Wendell see you in heaven some day.

Q: What will you never forget about Roger?
A: I will never forget how kind, caring, humble and generous he was. I have worked for his company for 8 years and he always had a smile and was grateful for all his employees. These are some of the reasons he was so successful.
I will miss his great sense of humor and awesome personality. I will also never forget him asking me for his favorite ice cream sandwiches. This is a huge loss for everyone who knew him. He was simply an amazing human being and an excellent role model. I will miss you my sweet Wendell. I will never forget you. You meant so much to me.
