Peggy and I have enjoyed being a part of your lives, even though we seldom were able to enjoy the pleasure of your company in person after the fifties... Those rare occasions after leaving Laredo AFB when we could raise our glasses in celebration were and are indeed treasured moments. Our condolences and prayerful thoughts are with Phil and our continuing prayers for peace as well. We look forward to meeting Sue at some time in the future...beyond the river. The Campbells Corsicana, TX

To Philip and family My deepest sympathy to you. Sue was a tennis friend in the Thursday afternoon group at Four Seasons and I have known her a long time. She was a good player and enjoyed the comradierie and always tried her best even when she was not feeling very well. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this very sad time. May she rest in peace. Sincerely, Mary Ann Nirschl

I have known Sue for over 70 years. We were teenagers together at Fort Benning, GA. We had horseback riding classes every Saturday, and Sue and I would ride on hunts together. Sue's mother, my Aunt Tudie, was one of my godmothers, and her father taught me the art of hunting and fishing. Sue was like the sister I never had! I was so saddened when Sue called me a few months ago and told me about her condition. I will truly miss her, her enthusiasm, and her wonderful smile. Diane and I send our deepest sympathy to Phil and Ann.

I rode with Sue at Dean's many times over the years and loved her stories about her riding adventures. Sue was a lovely person and I am so glad that I knew her. I miss her. My sincere condolences to her family.
