My Godmother Susan saved my life when I was about 4 or 5 years old (so almost 55 years ago) from an out of nowhere 105 body temperature.
She place me naked in my tub that was filled with water and large amounts of ice.
Parts of my body were turning blue, but it immediately got the temperature to go down under 100.
I don't remember much 5 and under, but I differently remember that..
GOD BLESS MY GODMOTHER SUSAN AND REST IN PEACE ALWAYS.
I Enjoyed listening to her Points of views on everything and staying at the house when I could.

I remember when my brother built a playhouse for my cousins in Douglaston Long Island. We had so much fun playing in it and then playing horseshoes. All the sleepovers at Christmas time and all the fun we had while our uncles played cards in the basement and our parents cooked such delicious food. I miss those days but most of all I miss my cousin Susan so very much.

We reconnected on Facebook and we continued to share stories like it was just yesterday. You went through many surgeries but your son was convinced he was going to get you moving and able to talk and walk. He did a fantastic job. He got you to cook and bake again. Which you loved. Susan was a beautiful lady that was always willing to help others. Her contribution of gorgeous First Communion and Confirmation cakes for St Joseph students and CCD children showed her amazing talent and generosity toward others. She is missed but not forgotten!

I always teased her about her pigtails, when we were kids I used to pull them, she'd go home & tell her Mom, mom's reply was that I must have liked her. I did then & I still do. She was the nicest & sweetest person I've ever met.
