Obituary of John Chrysostom Pricci

John “Chris” Pricci, 81, of Sterling, VA passed away peacefully at his residence Monday July 17, 2023 after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia, and infant sister Catherine. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria, along with his only child, Catherine E. Pricci (Tyler Chilcote). Chris is also survived by one sister, MaryLou (Peter F.) Pepe.

Chris grew up in Silver Spring, MD and attended Archbishop Carroll High School, graduating in 1959. After high school Chris attended the University of Maryland and earned a BS Degree in Biology. He later attended and graduated from George Washington University with a Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences. Chris worked for the Fairfax Health Department as a Environmental Health Specialist, retiring in 2007 after working 44 years.

Throughout his life, he was a professional scuba diver, loved cars (owned two Corvettes) and motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing and coaching his daughter in softball when she was younger.

Visitation will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home on Monday, July 24th, 2023 between 1:00-3:00 PM with a prayer service to be held following at 3:00 PM.
