Obituary of Joseph Gustav Berger

Joseph Gustuv Berger , 74 years old of Reston, VA died on January 28, 2010. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate of RPI with a Masters from the University of Akron Ohio. Joe was an Eagle Scout, the first of 3 generations. He started the first boy scout troop in Reston. He was one of the original team members with Admiral Rickover, designing nuclear submarines for Babcock and Wilcox. He then worked at IBM for 30 years, he later retired from FBI. Joe was an active member with St. Thomas a Becket Church, and a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marie, 4 children, Joseph ( Beth) Berger, Jr.; Jill A. Berger; John (Julie) Berger; and Lynda (Paul) Jesukiewicz and 7 grandchildren, Jacquie, Christopher, Max, Colton, Joey, Lindsey and Paulie. Services will be held at St. Thomas a Becket Church, 1421 Wiehle Ave, Reston, VA at 4:30 on Monday Feb. 1, followed by a mass at 6:30.
