A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Adams-Green Funeral Home.

Mona Ali Saeed passed away on August 5^th 2023 in Alexandria, Virginia.  Born August 20^th, 1996 to Ali Alahmed and Angela Emery she was the loving sister to Asha, Maysoon, Faisal, Bre, Danielle, Nawal, Noah, Abdulla, Rawdah, Dana and brother in law Jimmy.  One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her two nephews, Jassim and Cooper and her niece Alia.  She was an avid lover of children and was working as a preschool teacher at the time of her passing, a job she absolutely adored.   Mona also loved to bake in her free time and was known for her beautiful and delicious cake pops and her old trustys (chocolate chip cookies.)

Mona was born in the United Arab Emirates and had the unique experience to travel to many countries, as well as, throughout the United States as a beloved stepdaughter of her USMC stepfather Nate Emery. 

Mona had a heart of gold and would have given the clothes off her back to a stranger in need.  She loved Jesus with all her heart and could often be found listening to Christian music and reading her Bible which always brought her great peace.  She will be remembered by her beautiful smile and by the grace in which she moved throughout her life.  To know Mona was to love her. 

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Adams-Green Funeral Home.  Interment at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life held at the Hunters Creek Swim & Racquet Club; 417 Queens Row St, Herndon.
