To the O'hara family. The world is now a lesser place because of the passing of John O'Hara. He was my dear friend, adopted big brother, teacher and mentor. He was one of the best persons I ever had the privilege to know and my life and so many others have been enriched because of knowing him and the special nature of the relationships he had with us all. He was a true patriot, a great man, loving father, son, brother, wonderful person and true role model as a human being. A famous person once said "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give". This was John. We were all his “buddies” and we all knew “it is what it is”. We will miss him dearly. May God grant his grace and comfort upon all of the O'hara family and those of us in his extended family during this time of need. In the words of the traditional Irish Blessing, “May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand”. Rest in Peace My Dear Friend.
