We first met Keith and Barbara in Frederick, Maryland, where they were arranging the lovely wedding of their daughter Elizabeth and our son Nikolai at the Thorpewood Environmental Center. It was clear that our son was joining a loving and accomplished family. Keith was ever fun, informative, and gentlemanly to us as we made trips over the years to our children's homes in New Jersey. He and Barbara were especially helpful to our son, who was far away from his own family. We admired and enjoyed Keith's wide scientific knowledge and sense of humor and loved being in his company. We are grateful to have known him.
