Obituary of Rajinder Mohan Telhan

Rajinder Mohan Telhan "Big Papa", born on December 17th, 1943, in Punjab, India, passed away on September 18th, 2023, around 3:40 P.M, in his beloved home, in Sterling, Virginia surrounded by his devoted family. His life was a blessing from God to hold strength, sacrifice, and love to those around him.

Rajinder was an important person to so many lives. Precious husband to Veena Telhan; beloved father to Rajeev, Anu S, Akash, and Dheeraj Telhan; dearest brother to Surinder Telhan, Prem B, Dharam Telhan, Amrit Telhan, and Indu S. Grandfather to many grandchildren. Friend, and most importantly family to many.

Rajinder was a man who sacrificed his life and brought happiness to so many. He always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. Through his toughest times, he always put everyone before himself.

This is a thank you to the completion of a beautiful life. We thank him for everything he has done and will continue to keep him in our hearts. We love you and you will always be with us. May you find peace and happiness above and within.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, September 24th, 2023, at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Virginia, to celebrate the beautiful life and legacy of Rajinder Telhan. From 9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M, we gather to unite with Rajinder one final time. 

In remembering Rajinder, we are reminded of all the incredible bonds, achievements, sacrifices, and memories that have come together. May your soul rest in peace and blessings and courage to all who are left behind.
