Obituary of Richard Lomax Raymond

Richard L Raymond, 81, of Reston, Virginia passed away October 6, 2023, surrounded by his wife, daughter, and family friend while under hospice care. 

 

Richard grew up in various locations as his father was in the US Army.  He graduated from Fort Knox High School and then the University of Hawaii with a bachelor's degree in chemistry.  He was a Patent Examiner with the US Patent and Trademark office for 30+ years.

 

Richard is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Raymond, daughter, Laura R Brown, and grandson John R Caldwell.  He is also survived by stepson, Jeffrey Jakubcik, and stepgranddaughter, Skye Hall.

 

Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St, Herndon, Va 20170 on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Interment will be determined at a later date.
