Frank was devoted to his family and was a great dad. When my sister was working on Sunday, Andrea and Frank had their day together. He took her biking in the neighborhood, and kayaking on Long Island Sound. He was there for every dance recital for 16 years, and for every high school and college concert and theater production.
Frank also demonstrated courage in adversity. When he was recovering from a complex tibial fracture after a biking accident, he continued to work to produce the cables that aviators were depending on. Since this required standing, he invented an orthopedic device to support his leg that so he could stand and continue his work. He never thought about stopping, but used his creativity and persistence to overcome this challenge.
Frank was a man of few words, but his actions demonstrated his love of family, courage, and dedication to hard work.

Frank's presence in our lives remains a gift to all who knew him. His qualities of intelligence, wisdom, creative thinking, compassion for others, love of nature, animals, and birds, integrity, honesty, ethics, courage, and steadfastness in the face of adversity enhanced all our lives, whether family, friends, or business customers and colleagues. He expressed his caring for others through his actions. May memories of him be a blessing and comfort to his family and all who knew him.
