Obituary of Martin Coen Miller

Martin Coen Miller (aka Coen Maarten Postma), 28 passed away on October 22, 2023, after succumbing to injuries sustained during a multi-vehicle automobile accident.

Martin was born in Maastricht, The Netherlands on February 15, 1995, son of the late Jacqueline Louise Esmeralda Oldenkamp and Eric Onno Postma. He is survived by his husband, Timothy A. Miller of Clinton, Maryland. He is also survived by his father, Eric, step-mother Marie, brother Wouter , brother Tommie, sister Aimee and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Martin graduated High School and attended some college in The Netherlands. He most recently worked as a Flight Attendant for Republic Airways based at Washington, Reagan airport. He also previously worked as a Flight Attendant for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Martin enjoyed many hobbies including traveling, computers and electronics, spending time with his two dogs Zivah and Aladdin as well as listening to music, playing the piano, painting and various other projects. He was also very gifted with the ability to learn and speak new languages, speaking at least 5 languages fluently.

Most importantly, Martin had the ability to make connections with other people. He had a gift of being able to talk to people about almost anything and then be able to make a meaningful connection and become friends. Because of this, he had a large circle of friends from many different locations across the globe.

Martin was a kind, caring, beautiful soul who will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 1st, at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, in Herndon, VA 20170.
