Obituary of Betty Murray Paich

Betty M. Paich, age 81, died on November 15, 2009 at her home in Sterling, VA. She was born on May 26, 1928 in Venango County, PA to the late Robert Glenn and Gladys Irene Murray. Betty was an active member of the Sterling United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Betty was the beloved wife of 64 years of Tom Paich, loving and devoted mother of Thomas Paich of St. Mary's County, MD, Ronald Paich of Sterling, VA, Beth Vico of Sterling, VA, James Paich of Hamilton, VA and Robin Cortright of Sterling, VA, preceded in death by her infant son Robert Paich, sister of Shirley Micelli of Manassas, VA, proud Grammy of 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 18 th from 6-8pm and on Thursday, November 19 th from 12 noon to 1pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19 th at 1pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 501, Falls Church, VA 22042.
