Obituary of Shirley Jean Painter

Shirley Byrne Painter, age 72, died on April 19, 2009 at her daughter's home in South Riding, VA. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Loudoun County, VA to the late Leland and Marjorie Byrne. Shirley was the loving and devoted mother of Kathi J. Garman, beloved sister of Anne Rose of Culpepper, VA, Linda Counts of Fairfax, VA and Norman Byrne of Stephen City, VA, proud grandmother of Christopher and Andrew. Shirley retired from the County of Fairfax as a supervisor of the Data Entry Division. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25 th from 11am to 12pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, where funeral services will be held at 12pm. Interment will immediately follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
