Obituary of Sue Allan Killian

Sue Shear Killian passed away at home on November 29th, 2023 in Sterling, VA at the age of 78. Sue is survived by her loving husband Hal, Daughter Renee, and Seven Grandchildren - Jacklyn, Brandon, Ryan, Bradley, Destiny, Derek, and Sidney.  She is preceded in death by many loving grandparents, her mother, Hazel Louise Cummings, her father, Allan Alexender Shear, her aunt Maragret Shear and her son Kenny Kerns. 

Sue was born on February 23rd, 1945 in Leesburg, VA to Alexander Shear and Hazel Cummings. She graduated from Herndon High School and retired from the Town of Herndon Public Works Department in 2021. She was a kind, loving, and dedicated individual who loved her friends and family and who was passionate about helping others and spending time with her two dogs. 

A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, from 5-7 PM at Adams Green Funeral Home, with her burial to follow Friday, December 6th at 11 AM at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Pastor John Mix will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the sweet life of Sue.
