I will always cherish the jewelry shows that Gail and I partnered on. She was a constant encourager and brilliant artist. She gave me confidence to create beautiful pieces of wearable art. Those that did not sell, I still wear withany fond memories.
Also, one fall season, I was working on an Old-fashioned Christmas program for the church. In a conversation with Gail, we dreamed of a beautiful old town backdrop. Gail began to paint and the result was an entire street scene of lights and shops of Olde that covered the entire front of the sanctuary. Her design was a true masterpiece, one I will never forget.
Lastly, she helped us create a life-size tomb to use at Easter. For several years, we set it up outside and posted guards for the Easter vigil.
Gail used her giftedness for the glory of God and for the betterment of our community. I have no doubt she is marveling at the beauty of eternity now and finally at peace. I love you Gail and will forever be grateful that I have called you my sister and friend.
