Obituary of Patricia Ann Dufresne

Patricia Bailey Dufresne passed away from chronic lung disease on December 22, 2023 in Fairfax, Virginia at the age of 87.

Patricia is survived by her sisters Emily Regal, Nancy Boyd, and Charlotte Plante, her brother Emil Plante, her daughter Carol Naber, her grandchildren Michael Dufresne, Patricia and Frederick Naber, and her great grandchildren Frederick Naber, Thomas and Sebastian Dufresne.  She is preceded in death by her husband Frank and her son John.

Patricia was born on January 15, 1936 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.  A high school graduate, she married a soldier and spent many years travelling the world with him to Africa, Japan, and Germany.  Patricia’s undisputed talent was to make wherever they lived into a home for her family.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church in Reston, Virginia on January 23, 2024, at 11 a.m.  Patricia will be buried with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery on a future date.

Patricia loved her pets so in lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
