Jim invited me to a family Thanksgiving dinner a couple of months ago, which will give me pleasant memories of him. Jim loved fast cars all his life - driving and working on them. He worked for the phone company on 12th Street in DC and at a later location in McLean. He took life seriously, worked hard, but played hard, too. He loved his two aunts who raised him and his two sisters (Katharine and Susan). Aunt EA and Aunt Dot adored Jim. He'll see both of them now, once again, in heaven, along with Caroline, their beloved housekeeper and cook.
