Dear Christine; I am so sorry to learn of your Father's passing - my heart goes out to you. I lost my Dad last week, too. Know that you and your family will be in my prayers, and, that prayers and love will comfort you in this time of grief. Love, Cindy.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of a great friend. John and I grew up in Providence, in the same neighborhood. We both attended LaSalle Academy and hung out together. I have wonderful memories of those times. My sincere condolences to his family.

My deepest sympathy to all. I have lots of fond memories growing up with my cousins Bunny, John and Livia. We all lived in the same tenement house in Providence. It is always difficult to lose a member of one's family especially so unexpectedly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I played racquetball with John at Worldgate Sport and Health. I am shocked to hear of the passing of this wonderful and dear man. I always looked forward to his fun-loving disposition and great sense of humor. He always created a relaxed and fun environment even in the heat of competition. He truly loved life and his fellow man. He was a true gentleman and will be missed dearly.

My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of John Paolucci. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to call him a true friend. John and I have shared many impromptu conversations over the years, that have ranged from the military, politics, work ethics as well as the sport of racquetball, all of which we had in common. In all the years of sitting outside a racquetball court with John before playing and engrossing in our topic of the moment, John’s dearest conversations were about integrity and family, which he cared so deeply about and never faltered in maintaining his high standards for both. I will truly miss my conversations with a dear friend. May the memories of his statue and presence give peace and consolation to family and friends: and a source of inspiration of an accomplished life to all who have had the opportunity to have known John. My sincerest smpathy to your family. Whenever someone we love dies its only natural to ask WHY. God's word answers at Romans 5:12 but it gives us hope beyond our wildest dreams that there will be a resurrection of our loved ones very soon John 5:28,29, Ps. 37:9,10. You will be very happy and never remember the grief you feel this day. Warm Christian Love

My sincerest condolences to the Paolucci family. Strangely John probably never knew my name but yet we saw each other often. John had a locker near mine at the gym. We would see each other two or three times a week. We would laugh about the sometimes craziness of the world. We would talk about racquetball or golf. He would ask about squash, the sport I play. We would chat about the other people we knew from the gym. Sometimes we would talk about what was happening with Northrup Grumman. But there was one thing about John that just endeared me. It was his wonderfully cheerful attitude. He just loved life and was always so positive. He even laughed at a few of my jokes which probably weren’t very funny but it just showed that he could make someone feel better (me) with just a laugh. He had a laugh that showed his appreciation for the fun of life. Our French friend from the gym, JP, would probably say that John empitozed “VIVRE - RIRE – AIMER” which I think translates to “Live - Laugh – Love.” All of us from the gym feel a part of us that is now missing. Not even knowing John’s name, yet feeling his loss shows how he could touch someone in just a simple way. Mark Goldstein Chantilly, VA

Barbara, John was a great golf partner, a fellow systems engineering instructor and a friend. Since my retirement I have not kept in touch with many of my friends much to my sorrow. Losing a friend like John is painful. Our thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

My sincerest condolences to Barbara and the entire Paolucci family. I have known John all my life as we grew up in the same neighborhood - Federal Hill in Providence, R.I. After College we each went our separate ways and then a chance meeting 30 years later on a racquetball court in Reston, Virginia and we resumed our friendship. Over the past 10 - 15 years, John and I spent many hours together on the racquetball courts and on the golf course as John taught me how to play golf. I will always remember John as one of my dearest and closest friends and I will truly miss him.
