To Terry's family and friends, We spent probably the last evening of her life with Terry, helping her plant a tomato plant for the summer, something she could tend, water, and watch grow from her kitchen window. She had been sick and having health difficulties, and somehow we knew she was not feeling well or maybe innately we knew that her time was limited. She offered us several potted plants that evening to take for ourselves since we were neighbors, but we said no, that she should keep them. Jeanne spent many, many hours over the past couple of years talking with Terry, and they had become friends. We were concerned last Saturday when Terry and her dog Toby didn't come out on the street to walk, and late Saturday evening Jeanne actually called Terry to try to see if she was OK -- but her call went to Terry's voicemail. We did not pry or go to her house, but we were concerned about her status. On Sunday morning we got the news that Terry had died sometime after we had last seen her. Since Terry retired a couple of years ago, we had grown to know her better, even though we have been neighbors for over 20 years. Terry was a very private person, but she was also very intense. She was keenly observant in a scientific way about everything going on in the neighborhood. We appreciated her and will miss her. John and Jeanne Bradley
