Obituary of Vivian Marie Penton

Mrs Vivian Marie Penton wife of the late Gordon Kenneth Penton passed away April 9, 2009 at her home in Oakton Virginia with her beloved family by her side. Mrs. Penton was born in Ohio and resided in various locations due to her husbands employment with the US Air Force, she came to Virginia in 1965 from England. She was honored to be the first female tickets sales associate for Union Station in Columbus Ohio, her other careers led her in to the real estate field and lastley as a an employee at Medical Professional Exchange 's answering service. Mrs. Penton was the beloved mother of Patricia Smylie (Steve) & Pamela Pastro (Jerry), loving grandmother of Iva, Steven, christopher, Stephanie, Michelle & Joey, also the devoted sister of Helen Murphy. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 16, 2009 at 3 p.m. Sterling United Methodist church E. Church Rd. Sterling Va. were visitation will begin at 2 p.m. other visitation hours are being held Wednesday April 15, 2009 from 1-3 & 7-9 p.m. at Adams Green Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon Va. Burial will be private at Arlington National Cemetery, Memorial Contributions are being requested to Capital Hospice or the american Heart Association.
