Obituary of Marion Grace Pugliano

Please share a memory of Marion to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marion Grace Pugliano (nee Malton), was born in Pittsburgh , PA , on March 4, 1919. She died on September 17, 2010, in Herndon VA. Marion moved to Herndon in 1980 to be with her two sons. She is survived by her two sons Samuel Caldrone of Fairfax, VA , and Harry Pugliano of Kingwood, WV . Marion worked hard as a single, working mother to raise her two sons to adulthood. They very much appreciate her efforts and sacrifice in doing this. She is well known as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Her grand children, along with their spouses, will miss her greatly, as will her great-grandchildren. Some of her close friends called her "Mom", "Grandma", and other affectionate names. She loved people and enjoyed helping them in any way she could. She had many friends and abounded in good deeds for others up until the time of her death. Marion was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1984, in Wheeling WV. She has been a zealous evangelizer over the years while dealing with many relentless, severe health issues during that time. Up to her death, she was an active preacher of the good news in the Sterling Park, VA , Congregation. Besides her two sons, Sam and Harry, Marion is survived by their spouses, (to Marion her daughters); Eva Caldrone and Vicki Pugliano. Marion is also survived by her beloved six grandchildren: Lorene Thomas, Dawn Massaro, David Caldrone, Michael Caldrone, Brittany Reed, and Jordan Pugliano. Their spouses, Shawn, Tony, Michelle, Susan, and Stewart, were a continual support and were loved by Marion as much as her grandchildren. In addition, Marion is survived by her much-loved great-grandchildren; Molly and Jake Thomas , Nino and Malea Massaro, Emily and Joshua Caldrone, Campbell and Marshall Caldrone, and Luke Reed. Marion will be greatly missed by all who knew her. MEMORIAL SERVICES : Saturday, September 25, 2010 , 3:00 PM Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 48055 Sugarland Run Drive, Sterling, VA
