Uncle Joe was a phenomenal man who, as the oldest, carried the legacy of the REDMOND name Joseph Christopher. He was generous with his time and money and held fast to the importance of family in his actions and deeds. His zeal for life formed my understanding of what family bonds across generations and prodigies were about. I will never forget him for this gift.

Dear Peg and all the family. Needless to say we were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Joe. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I am so glad that we got to see Joe at the M&F Reunion Picnic recently. As hard as this is on all of you, we all know that Joe wanted to be active to the very end. His wish was granted. Joe left quite a legacy and a wonderful family. In the days and years to come, you will have many wonderful memories and stories to tell and share with the younger generation. We know Peg that you spent a great part of your life married to Joe and his loss is very great for you. Stay strong and hold to your faith. Joe would want you to celebrate his life and live yours to the fullest. Even if he is not physically with you, he surely is in spirit. Our deepest sympathy Dottie and Jon Holstine

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, I could never thank you and Joe enough for your friendship during the years and Joe's advice on life and his supportive words, not to mention playing him in tennis. I now count on Joe's golden advice now that I'm engaged to be married. I will miss him affectionately beating me up:) Joe was truly a Blessing.
