Remembering one of the best Dads I knew growing up.... Also one of most fun, goofy, life-loving people ever to come into my life! Fond memories of Wrightsville Beach, 4th of July fireworks on the mall, hours of card playing at the dining room table, lively gatherings to watch Redskin's and Bullet's games, and a smile that lit up the room. Umgawa will live on in our hearts and memories. Love and prayers to all the Robbins family. -- Liz

To the Robbins Family - What a great father. He will be missed dearly by all. It was your father who brought me closer to my father. The golf outings that we had each Sunday were always electric and fun and Mr Robbins was the reason for that. I think the Redskins lost one of their greatest fans. God Bless.

Jim was an original and one of the most unforgettable characters I ever met. He and his loving wife raised a great family and together they made a differance in the development and life of Sterling Park. He loved his community, the schools his children attended, his church, youth sports and his friends but most of all his family. Men like Jim Robbins don't come along every day. As I said he is an original. In time his family and friends may become accustomed to not having Jim among us but we shall never forget his good and cheerful way of life.
