Obituary of Virginia A. Roberts

Virginia A. Roberts, 87, on October 31, 2008 at her residence in Sterling, Va. She was the beloved mother of Sandy J. Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, James W. Mathews and her second husband, George Roberts. She worked at the Department of Agriculture for 36 years. She attended the First Baptist Church in Clarendon for 50 years. Family will receive friends at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA on November 7, 2008 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held where she attended church for the past 5 years at Potomac Baptist Church, 20747 Lowes Island Blvd., Potomac Falls, VA. On November 8, 2008 at 11:45 am. The family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to Evercare Hospice, 21515 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 330, Sterling, VA 20166.
