I met Marian when I met my wife Jennifer and her family, the Butts, about fifteen years ago. Though I wasn't related to her, I considered her as much a part of my family as anyone. She was a wonderful woman with the warmest of souls.

We meet Marian at our church, St. Matthew's, and enjoyed her fellowship with us. She was warm, friendly, and always had a smile and wave for us at the 8 o'clock service on Sundays. We will miss her smile and wave and send our deepest sympathy to her family upon their loss.

I am a former member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. My former husband and I always sat in the back row with Marian. We loved her dearly and we used to call each other from time to time to have a chat. I will miss talking with her. Fondly, Sybil Glascock
