"Earth has no sorrow, that Heaven can not heal..." To Beverly, lil Irvin, Isiah, and all the family of the late Irvin Scott; We serve a mighty God, and know that Irvin is in a better place. He is with our loved ones both young and old, praising God from whom all blessings flow. It saddened me to hear of your lost, and knowing that God called him home so suddenly made me again realize that it is truly getting late in the evening, and the sun is going down. We all realize day to day that we need to have our house in order, because when God calls us home we GOT to be ready... In remembering the good man you shared so much with, remember Irvin left us with two young men that will be an example of what a good father produce. I wish you all the best in the time you have now to reflect and remember the man we all will miss. I love you all like my own, because of the warm and cheerful heart you've shown Beverly, as a co-worker, but most of all a true friend... "The good works we do, never go unnoticed, and the good people we meet, are never forgotten." May God continue to bless and keep you all in is loving care during this time of grief... May Heaven shine brighter, for we know there's another Angel singing in God's Heavenly choir.

Irving, I am sitting here trying to think of the best thing to say to you. I know that there's nothing I can say to take away your pain, but I hope my love for you is enough to make this time a little easier. Meeting you at Shannon Wilson's house in July of 1995 was one of the best things that ever happened to me, because I met a man with strength, character, and most importantly, a gentle heart. I believe that you were shaped to be such an awesome man, because of the love and guidance you received from your father. Please know that I am always here for you, Irv. Always!

Irving and Family, As I reflect the day I met Irving when I came on board in 2004, I remember a man with a true sense of humor and respect towards anyone he came in contact with. Irving was always cheerful amidst many changing roles of work. He was always asking "what can I do to make things for you and all on my shift be more productive, what can we do to be more profitable?" The dispatchers said to me on this past Thursday that "Irving would always come over and wake us up with his humor. They said "We were always half asleep and Irving talk to us and end the conversation with some sort of humor or a joke and walk away" Irving was a man after my own heart... when he made a mistake he would dwell on it until he found the right solution for it not to happen again or in the near future. Irving always addressed all of the ladies in the office as Mrs.... he showed the utmost respect for anyone he met at the office. When he was promoted to the night lead, he created this "blue binder" and kept every note to better himself and well as develop his own skills. In closing; Irving is a great man of God. Heaven now has a great logistics leader!!! He will be missed by everyone at work, But... He will be missed GREATLY by ME!!!!
